How much do you like the flavor of cardboard dipped in A1 and pepper? Well, if you can imagine that combination, you can imagine a steak at Outback Steakhouse. This place is so overpriced for what they do it's ridiculous. This is not a steakhouse folks, the meat is usually as tough as shoe leather, it's cooked the exact same way no matter how you order it. Medium? Well Done? Blued? It's all the same to these guys. You're only hope of choking this stuff down is to drown it in A1, which is something no true steak lover would ever want to do. And I mean that goes for everything. The steak, the shrimp, the bread, the potato, it's one of the worst meals you can ever spend 50 bucks on.

I have been to many Outbacks in other parts of the contry and they have been excellent. But unfortunately this one is not. While it has improved dramatically over the few years it has been here the food is is like a roller coaster some nights it is good (never great like at other Outbacks) other night just short of inedible. When I have complained the manage has actally tried to convince me I was wrong. The service is the same. Sometimes good but overall fair. More then once I have had to flag down someone to find our sever to get drink refills and find out why after 60 minutes since we ordered our food was still not out. On a couple of occassions appetizers were delivered after the main meal with no explanation

The food was good, they know how to cook steak, aka they know more than just well-done. The service was good as well, our waitress was really on the ball getting refills, checking up on us, and was very personable. The servings were spot on as well. The only negative was the crab stuffed shrimp. It was brought out cold with the feeling that it was suppose to be warm and did not taste very good. Overall this was a good place to eat at.

Um...I enjoyed everything here except the steak. Service was great, salad was good and fresh and I'm in love with some chocolate waffle dessert that was amazing...but this is a steak joint! My filet was a tasteless hockey puck. I wasn't expecting much, but come on!

Always an Outback fan and assumed all were the same. This one proved me wrong. Food was bad ... agreed to by all 3 in our party. Service from waitress "Sam" was nonexistent. Took our order, never checked back on us for more drinks, etc. Appetizer was served After the meal. Gave them 2 stars versus one only because manager compted 50% after I complained.

Overpriced. If you like having you wallet emptied, this is the place to go to.

Surprising... I have been to a few Outback Steakhouses in Arizona, and this is hands down, the best one I've been to. After trying out the other locations in the state, I was extremely apprehensive to dine at this one. I'm not sure what really came over me, but I may have gotten braver throughout the years. I am a prime rib lover, and their's is pretty good. Compared to other steakhouses in town, their's is pretty delicious, but more on the pricey side. I don't remember being able to get fresh horseradish here, but don't quote me on that. The customer service here is also pretty stellar compared to all the other places in town. The servers and bartenders actually act like they care about you.

The service was decent, the wait wasn't very long, but they didn't have french onion soup... the steak was really dry also... kind of disappointing counting that I love outback as a general rule... I would probably eat here again but not as a priority... The California Outbacks are way better...

before i worked at outback, i HATED this place. i guess i needed the opportunity to eat their food for free to really appreciate it...especially cuz now i know all the tricks to getting what i want. i'm not much of a meat eater, but it's hard for me to turn down their prime rib. not the best thing on the planet, but pretty tasty. i LOVE their honey mustard...which is one of the reason i get the kids chicken tenders...tasty goodness. the sides are all pretty decent, the best being the veggies (all carrots and snowpeas) and the kid-mac (yes, you CAN get a side of the MAGICALLY FUCKIN DELICIOUS mac and cheez...you just have to ask...and be forceful!) oh oh oh, or get the boomer shrimp...coco style. you know that freakin amazing appetizer they have? oh yeah, you can get a whole plateful...with no extra charge. i don't advice anyone to work here...servers switch pretty frequently cuz the management is a lil iffy and the money is kinda up and down. pretty ppl only need apply...anyone ONLY decent looking runs the risk of getting walked all over. or maybe that's just me...but this monkey doesn't work hard for ppl who don't work hard for her.

As with my other Sierra Vista reviews, this crap-hole would be lower if there were any great alternatives. Unfortunately, in Sierra Vista, there aren't. If you're on a budget, and want a prime rib, but don't care if it's ACTUALLY a prime rib... go ahead and eat here.

On July 31, I brought a tour group of 12 persons for dinner after arranging call-ahead seating. Being that it was a Wednesday, I thought we would be assured of quick service and the quality I've always been able to count upon at the Outback chain. Boy was I wrong... Our group arrived and was seated at 6:30 p.m., however it took FOREVER for the waitress to take our orders. After speaking with the manager twice, our orders were finally taken at 7:20 p.m. and it was another 20-25 minutes before the salad arrived. The manager tried to smooth over the situation by comping the table two orders of appetizers, but instructed the kitchen to send those before the salads! The timing was so off that they arrived shortly after the salad. I hate to say this, but the quality of the dinners was pathetic. In looking around our table, I could see the others thought this as well. My steak was the worst cut of top sirloin I have ever had at this chain. We didn't get out of the restaurant until 9:00 p.m.! I enjoy Outback because the quality control between locations is usually pretty good, but this location is an embarrassment to the chain. After sizing up the situation, I believe this fiasco was due to poor management. The restaurant appeared to be understaffed for the amount of business that evening and was only half-full. Honestly, if we were a smaller group, we would have been out of there. We visit the area regularly but I will NEVER patronize this location again.

As OBS goes, this one is pretty average. The food is pretty good, when it's cooked correctly, but the service is kind of meh, especially for a slow Monday night. My bride always orders the "outback special" - medium. When she cut into her steak, it was had a sliver of pink left in it - more like medium well. The table behind us had the same problem - overcooked steaks. We don't often send food back, but this time, we did after noticing we weren't the only table getting the overcooked food. The manager was very cordial about it. The new steak came out perfect. Our server never brought us table utensils - I got up and swiped napkins/forks/knives from another table that had not been sat yet after my wife's salad sat in front of her uneaten for a few minutes. Our server also did not check back with us within a few minutes of delivering our meals - instead we had to have the conversation with the manager about the overcooked steaks. When we pay the prices they charge at OBS, we just want things to be the way they were ordered.

Revisited a few days ago for another try at their filet. This time, the steak was right on the money. Nicely cooked (med) and prepared. Only glitch - the asparagus was small and overlooked and complimentary beer bread was a tad hard. Service in the bar area was great considering a Friday night.

The food is delicious. Appetizers are very pricey. I tried the wood fired grilled steak but even though you can taste the woody flavor, there seems to be less seasoning. The prices are high, but most steak prices have been high for quite a while now everywhere. Not a place to go often if on a budget. Also, I noticed a lot of FAT on their streaks to the point where I feel it is a bit much for the price. Some fat is alright, but I cut a lot off of the ribeye that was not chewable. Last time I had the prime rib and that had a lot of fat too and when I showed the manager, I was told that I should expect a decent amount of fat on it. Not when the fat makes up over one third close to one half of the prime rib.

Excellent Grilled chicken. Loved my server too, she was very friendly and courteous. Too bad they were out of lamb chops. And out of pork chops. And out of sirloin.

Although writing reviews for chain restaurants seems pointless, since you usually know what you are going to get (minus slight variations in service) it is important to note that this is probably one of the best restaurants for steak and prime rib in this town. The service is good at this location and a quick meal at the bar is usually, well, quick.

2 adults on a Monday night about 7:15, place about half full, sat down to a table quickly, ordered the Sangria and a Margerita, both cold and delicious. Ordered the Avocado and Crabmeat appetizer, was quite tasty and enough to split. Ordered a sirloin steak - Rare, salad and baked potato, all up to expectations. Waitstaff was friendly, yet professional. Hadn't been to an Outback in a long time due to poor service at other locations. Only problem, and this is a corporate one, we see their ads on tv for specials, yet when we go to the restaurant, the specials aren't available, interesting, Overall an enjoyable dinner out,

Food was pretty good. My husband got the 11oz steak and bacon wrapped shrimp. He was very impressed. I just got a Caesar salad and a loaded sweet potato. Everything was good even my beer was nice and cold! Our server was a little awkward though. I'm not even sure how to explain it but it was just uncomfortable like he didn't want us to be there.

Feb 28, 2015 - Not bad had the pasta and chicken, house salad and desert, we've been there twice and both times the service was good, except for the fire alarm in which our meal was interrupted for 15-20 minutes while they waited to see what was going on (kind of confused the staff on if we should exit the building duhhhhhhhh). Once we returned back inside the table was cleaned and our meals came pretty quick, i would go there again and become fan. Nothing funnier than counting the lady next to me sucking down those 8 cocktails - she was too funny.

We approached this location as tourists, having ventured down from Phoenix to enjoy the winery's of So. Arizona. Beginning with somewhat lowered expectations, I was pleasantly surprised and highly satisfied with our experience here. Coming off of a long, long day of drinking wine in the unforgiving sun, I figured the waiters would have no mood for another group of cranky out-of-towners. Far from it. They empathized with our dehydrated state and swiftly brought us bread while we helped ourselves to complimentary cold, fruit infused water. Sobering up and seated at our table, the bread kept coming. I opted to try the horseradish crust on my filet along with a cup of the tortilla soup. Both were excellent! The meat was cooked well (medium-rare) and the flavors of the soup were outstanding. The horseradish crust was pretty hearty, so be ready for a mouthful. It was not as spicy as I would prefer, but added a nice touch. The only drawback of the evening was that they had run out of ribs. If that's a common occurrence, I could understand some significant annoyance. Luckily, the menu is ripe with delicious options, including cake pops for dessert, that I heard were very tasty (included carrot cake, chock peanut butter and cheesecake). If you're in the area, you can't go wrong with this Sierra Vista Outback!

Just had dinner at the Outback in Sierra Vista. 2nd time in the past couple of months. Over the last couple of years I have noticed the quality has gone down. The filet both times has had a lot of fat and gristle. baked potatoe was cold, sirloin was very tough, and service was slow. Too bad as it used to be the best steak in town, but not any more.

Out of prime rib @ 730pm?? Is this a steakhouse or what?!? Settled for a ribeye only because I really wanted steak. Ordered med-rare and received Rare! Manager asked how everything was and offered a free dessert... WHAT? I didn't come here to eat dessert!! I normally Love Outback, but I've had Better Elsewhere!

Service was pretty good. Very disappointed that this place seems to get more expensive while offering smaller portions. Alice Springs chicken tastes different every time now, not sure what's up with this place....

First time eating at this steakhouse in SV. We went on a Friday night, only waited about 10 minutes. Had a nice waitress that gave us our drinks and bread in good time. Waited about 15 minutes for our steak and lobster tail. But it was well worth the wait. They were both very fresh, well seasoned, and worth the price. We also used a $6 coupon which helped the price with our glass of wine. Worth a night out for some good food.

Decent steaks, good caesar salads. Typical chain. Conveniently located and lots of parking.

I can only speak for the to go service. It is always excellent and everything we request is in our order. I really appreciate that. It is easy to order online or from.their phone apparently and go pick it up. They deliver to your vehicle. It's usually fairly quick and the orders are always complete. Still, double check your order before pulling off.

Agree with Christina...service was and always has been outstanding. 5 stars all the way! However, quality of food has been declining with each subsequent trip. Prime rib was decent, but have definitely tasted better at restaurants (Outback included). Crab legs were cold and unappetizing. Our server handled complaint professionally and removed item from bill. I would come back again based on service alone, however, if the quality of food does not improve, that will only last for so long. Will come back again, just not in a hurry to do so.

The service made my experience here exceptional. I ended up going two nights in a row while visiting family in Sierra Vista. The were accommodating as possible to senior's needs (though lack the type of chairs many seniors might need). With our leftovers, the server put little notes with what was in the box, date, best way to reheat leftover Bloomin' Onion. Very cute! Everyone from the hostess to servers to manager (or owner?) were great. And, the food was really delicious. I fancy myself somewhat of a foodie and tend to avoid chains like Outback. But,I reall really enjoyed the two fish dishes I had over the two nights. Especially the firecracker salmon which had great flavor and a lower calorie option. Probably the best place to eat in Sierra Vista.

Me a and my fiancé have been wanting to try this place for a while now but there hours kinda limit our business with them at 4pm to 10pm.the restraunt is set up very nice and we were seated quickly.we both ordered a 10oz sirloin steak.the bread and salad were both good and the server was well informed about salad dressings that they offered and helped make a suggestion on a good alternative to Italian dressing because they don't serve that there.but that's the end of the good news for this place, when our steaks came out one was very rare we both ordered medium the other was very well done.when the server came by I showed him mine and he sent it back he came back a few minutes later and suggested we share the current steak because the corrected one was going to take a while. When the steak Finnaly did come out it was cooked correctly but I have to say there is nothing special about there steaks and not worth what we paid for the meal.overall this is not a place we will be going to again!!!

We only go for weekend lunch. If you haven't tried their lunch specials, you're missing out. I switch between the Coconut Shrimp, the 6-oz sirloin, a burger, and the chicken/swiss/bacon sandwich. Always great! We really like the creamy onion soup (better than french onion) and the chicken tortilla. Don't care for the potatoe or the clam chowder. They have several good wait staff, but we like Joy the best.

Mediocre service for mediocre food. If you are a real steak lover I don't recommend it. I did like their crab and avocado appetizer. I seriously doubt we will return. Especially since Texas Roadhouse is right down the road and much better.

Horrible service, they don't honor reservations, food came out slow and cold. Service was below par. Never going again. Seated in 2 booths back to back 30 minutes after reservation, not even seated to where we could converse with our party!
